For our unique teas, we select only the highest quality tea leaves, hand-picked by our partners in their native Darjeeling region. All teas are 100% biological, organic and produced in an environmentally friendly way using renewable energy and organic compost. All our products are therefore as natural as possible.

Fairness.

Our goal is to promote all our partners and create equality among farmers. These small tea farmers are the heart and soul of Rimpocha Tea. To ensure the quality and loyalty of our partners, we buy the tea at 50% above the market price. In this way we ensure that the small tea farmers grow organically both financially and agriculturally and provide an alternative farming system compared to the top-down colonial hierarchies that still dominate the tea growing regions of India.

Female Empowerment.

In India, 70% of women are extremely exploited and trapped in a vicious circle of utter poverty and misery. Rimpocha enables women to become financially independent. Through our work and partnerships, it is our explicit goal to promote women's empowerment by supporting female tea farmers. We believe it is important to promote equal rights for women in agriculture and to give them the opportunity to lead a self-determined life.
